Box of Twelve Vintage Shiny Brite Glass Christmas Ornaments - Variety (275)

Box of 12 vintage glass Christmas ornaments in a variety of colors, shapes and decorations. Made in the USA by Shiny Brite in the 1940's-1950's. Six balls (about 2" in diameter decorated in geometric designs using colored ground glass glitter, including one "moon and stars" stencil in white ground glass glitter on a red ball. All of these are showing some loss of the ground glass glitter. There are 5 egg shapes decorated in stripes on silver and gold backgrounds - four of these have an unusual "frost" or etched look on the top half. The 12th ornament is a lantern shape. The original Shiny Brite box measures 9" x 7" x 2 1/2" but does not have a lid. Overall, the ornaments are i good used vintage condition.
